C63 W204 Track Rat Modifications Advise | 100-200
Hi Folks,
So I have been regularly tracking my cars at the formula 1 circuit (BIC) in India. My record times are done in my M5 F10 and this time around I thought of using my C63 w204 as my track rat.
My goal is to make this car a 100-200 km/hr under 7.5 seconds. I know that this is what is effectively needed for me to make good times apart from the handling mods that I have done on her.
She was a standard non black series c63 w204 and this is what she is today :
Engine - focus was on cooling and reliability
1. MB OE - 44O cooling kit primary inter cooler
2. MB OE - 44O cooling kit secondary cooler
3. VR - 82 mm Throttle Body
4. Gruppe - Carbon Fibre high flow Intakes
5. Agency Power - Upgraded Crank Pulley
6. Weistec - Transmission Pan
7. Derale - Transmission Cooler with Motor
8. East Coast - Upgraded Engine Mounts
Handling - focus was agility and nimble approach
1. KW - DDC Coilover with WLAN Module
2. Ultra Racing - 4 Point front Lower Subframe
3. Ultra Racing - 2 Point Rear Boot Strut
4. Ultra Racing - 2 Point engine Strut
5. Ultra Racing - 4 point front joints
6. Ultra Racing - 2 points mid subframe
Appearance - need to look hot too!!
1. Black Series Wide body kit with front bumper, rear bumper, front fender, rear panel and side skirts
2. Carbon Fibre hood
3. GT Style Spoiler
4. H&R - 25 mm rear and 30 mm front
Exhaust - after much deliberation!!
1. IPE - long tube headers
2. IPE - valvetronic Exhaust - full kit
Tune -
1. Eurocharged v7
I would appreciate any inputs in making this more track suitable focussed on :
1. 100 to 200 km/hr time improvement
2. E85 Flex fuel kit review
3. Better throttle response (this is key)

Unfortunately E85 is not available here in India
Have you guys heard of Simon Motorsport. Managed to tune a c63 w204, NA to achieve 7.22 in 100-200 kmhr

Do you access to HPTuners out there? If you are looking to optimize the tune for your particular setup and fuel, that would be the way to go as opposed to a "canned" tune that will leave something on the table since it has to work for the masses.

You’re not getting a 7.5s 100-200kph time with this car NA. Unless you lose 600lbs or give it a 150hp shot of nitrous.

Hey Jim,
I disagree. Fuel and weather play a crucial role on NA engines.
I would have agreed with you if I wouldn’t have seen results posted by some folks achieving 7’s.

goal is to run a 7.9 or 7.8 for that
hagi ran a 7.9 years ago with less power but it’s way lighter than my car
but your right your average c63 with bolt ons on pump will do low 9s fuel lweight.

Weight savings for sure will get the 100-200 times up, that’s basic science. The idea is to see the full body weight car achieve this. I am in touch with Simon from Simon Motorsport, any experience with this company ? Couldn’t get much.
Today I encountered another issue -
on WOT, as soon as the kick switch is depressed, I get the run flat indicator and engine enters limp mode. A quick scan on the OBD revealed
P2123 - TPS switch D high circuit
P0600 - Serial communication link malfunction
P1360 - unknown
I have done the TCU reset process including battery disconnection. It’s clearly getting activated on the depression of the kick switch.
any suggestions or past experience ?
