C63 W204 Throttle Position Sensor
Today I encountered an issue and seeking your advice,
on WOT, as soon as the kick switch is depressed, I get the run flat indicator and engine enters limp mode. A quick scan on the OBD revealed
P2123 - TPS switch D high circuit
P0600 - Serial communication link malfunction
P1360 - unknown
I have done the TCU reset process including battery disconnection. It’s clearly getting activated on the depression of the kick switch.
I thinks it could be due to a faulty TPS. I also happened to install the larger Throttle Body 82 mm, but I don’t think that’s the problem.
Anyone been on the same boat ?
any suggestions or past experience ?

It'd be best if you can swap it out with someone you know (or buy a used one from a junkyard) before forking over the cash for a replacement.
I had a P0222 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Low code come on after I had removed my intake manifold to replace the PCV and add a catch can. I jumped to the forums to see if anyone had the same issue and one found a few people experiencing similar problems...
The consensus was to first get it properly diagnosed, but a few drivers installed new accelerator pedals or throttle bodies and had success.
Since I was really trying to do all my own maintenance I figured I could at least test the accelerator pedal theory by purchasing one (used $70 from ebay) and see if that made a difference.... Installed and welp... no difference.
Fearing I may have to replace/upgrade the TB, I stopped by my local indie shop to get hooked up to the STAR machine.... The reading was able to show there was a fault to ground one of the 4 plugs on the intake manifold. After removing the second or third plug we found an electrical pin had been bent when I pushed the plug together...
The tech straightened out the pin, and I earned the title at the shop of "hack of the day" haha.... fair enough.
After replacing spark plugs, fuel injectors, removing the intake manifold, replacing a PCV valve and adding a catch can as a DIY MB World and YouTube mechanic, I am really happy that a bent pin was my only issue.
Long story short, check the pins on electrical plugs on the front of the manifold before buying parts or causing a few laughs at your local shop!

Restarting the car then just left the engine management light on. Then, after a day it would clear… however, as soon as you drove and hit the bottom button on the pedal (kick down) all these lights would come back and limp mode would kick in again. After plugging in a code reader it read P2123.
The Mercedes STAR procedure is to first cleanup the throttle pedal connectors. This however did not work for me, so I replaced the throttle
pedal for £170 (Thanks to Mercedes of Newcastle) and fitted it myself.
All good so far!

I am chasing an issue on my Supercharged car where when i WOT it, the car 'redlines' at 5500 RPMs, and no CEL. however if WOT in lower gears, it follows up by limp mode and malfunction codes. Ive tried TBs, used accel pedal, tunes; no joy. Sitting with a broken SC belt that wont allign at the moment. (enough of my mini vent haha)

Do you know what pin was bent? I still cant fix my p0222 error. I brought a new pedal and that didnt work. I installed 2 throttle bodies... that didnt work. I installed new ecu.. that didnt work. I did find the wires was showing bare copper. So I cut and re crimped it. So didnt work. I'm running ing out of ideas. I'm thinking of tapping the wires from my switch A plug and tap it Into my switch B plug. Pin 6 which is the signal wire.
if you can tell me which number pin was bent on yours that would be great.
Thanks
