I have a 2014 c63 507 edition sedan bone stock.

I’m having issues with the brake hold feature on the car. It still works but once I double tap the brakes to enable it after a few seconds it makes a single knocking noise sounds like it’s coming from directly in front of me. Could it be the master cylinder? Or anyone else have this issue could help!
