My experience with Yabeela Parts for their new M156 4.0L supercharger

My experience with Yabeela Parts for their new M156 4.0L supercharger

Hey everyone, just wanting to share my experience with Yabeela Parts, based out of Kuwait, from my understanding.

Aug 1st, was told 3 weeks for it to ship. After the 3 weeks, i constantly asked about the shipment and updates to be only told "we are working on a new revision / shipping in 8 days, 14 days, end of month etc". I finally asked yabeela few days ago the status of my SC, he freaked out, saying i constantly ask them and they're just refunding me everything. I was absolutely disgusted with the way they treated me at the end, and the attitude / tantrum thrown over me asking constantly when my product would be recieved as i had dropped some good coin for it.

Luckily they refunded me everything. I can't imagine what would happen if i had to trouble shoot issues with their product, with the terrible customer service received.

I am sure it will be a beautiful product when it comes out, but their customer service was nasty. I felt embarrassed as a customer. I do agree, i constantly asked for updates, as i was becoming suspicious after it was not delivered in the time they told me with very little info and pictures, but that is not how you treat someone after they blindly support you for a brand new product with barely any information.

I am now happy to be moving forward with Weistec, someone who actually can answer my questions right the first time, and really great customer service. I'm a patient person, but Yabeela really ticked me off. Check out some screenshots of our messages (i happen to delete all messages before their response as i clean out my messages on my phone, etc..but I'm sure they can provide you with screenshots if anyone is actually interested in what I said (literally asked what's the status of the SC shipment).

I'm sure lot of people have had good things to say about them, and maybe im the one in a few to get treated that way. Maybe i was the unlucky bird. Just wanted to share my experience with Yabeela. Ya, bye bye

Talk about unprofessional... if your spending 14k+... yeah MF I’m gonna message your on where my product is and if I have a f**king problem. I’ve spoken to Yabeela before, they provide very little info on products through email and website.

Besides, the 4.0L Blower is too big for daily driving. Will be super laggy until it gets spinning. The 2.9L from weistec is more than enough on 67mm pulley. If you have meth you can bandaid the fuel system and run the 60mm pulley. Pretty sure Troy (Merc63) ran it with stock non p31 internals and just 100 octane. If you have access to e85. You can blend in also 2-3 gallons to bring octane up from 93 to 96-98 octane as well (wouldn’t do that unless you have Wmi to supplement stock fuel system)

When is weistec delivering your blower?

Ive ordered pistons and rods from weistec; completing the engine work hopefully soon. The internals will be sent out once an engine builder opens it up and gives them the specs.

It will be a long process for me as im going to take my time with it.

I was soo excited since August. I just lost interest in everything after all this, it definitely was not fun. I know I'll be excited once this is all said and done.

Bro you know that the aftermarket support will suck with Yabeela. Weistec / ESS way to go especially for trouble-shooting should you need it.

100% Weistec is amazing. I dropped of my car on Friday, to start the motor tear apart process; if the stock internals are still good to go, you can scoop em' up haha

The lead time for 10k+ of parts kept expanding with no clear ship date. That doesn't sound like a problem to you?

This thread was informative. Given the dipshït replies shared here, I wouldn't trust them with my cheese now...

Just to clarify on a comment regarding the larger 4.0 blower, you won't experience lag. This is a positive displacement blower, not centrifugal. That said, it's probably not worth it until you push the limits of the 2.9L, which is in the 800+ WHP range. And by then, there's probably a whole new set up upgrades you would need to make to drive train and cooling to pull it off. Oh yea, and traction out back.
