FWIW, an 09 C63 sold at Mecum in Vegas this weekend for $24K ($26,4K after fees) - far from 'collectors' money but at least decent money even w lower miles. I'm addicted to watching these auctions and don't recall a C63 running thru for a very long time, and unless they're the newer 'exotic'/rare models or older classics, MBs typically don't seem to bring good or even fair money at these things(with what limited info they provide). No miles announced on anything over 10yrs old and no FI announced (or that I could tell). This one was iridium silver w/grey interior w/ custom wheels, a 'front mounted' carbon fiber air intake and some blacked out bits. Curious if anyone knows this car and can add some add'l specs/info - I always like to keep an eye on resale and prices seemed to have bottomed out somewhat over the last couple of years.

I have been a driver at the Mecum Houston auction for the last 4 years, and am addicted to watching them too. Here's one of my rides this year.

The only W204 C63 that will hold its value is the PFL Affalterbach Edition, FL "Edition 507" and the FL " Black Series". For example a W211 E55 holds its value and has a better resale value than a lower mileage W204 C63 right now.
The "Headbolt" scare and the Takata recalls have alot to do with the falling prices on these.

Don't disagree and some of those may appreciate as well, but for those in the sub $25K range that don't want to see their cars drop another $5K+ in a short period of time - the PFL C63s don't seem to be too bad a bet at this point in time. Then again, I thought that on a 335is a couple of years back and got it wrong

I saw that! Blew my mind for that price.
