I wonder if the buyer is still looking for the twin turbochargers.

Yeah, they messed up that auction card. My recommendation is to skip over the NA 63's and go straight to the bi-turbo models. The 6.2 had too many serious issues and are too expensive to make fast.

What are some of the issues that the 6.2 has? I am interested in a 6.2 CL63. Don't have any plans to do any major modifications, just want something that looks great, is comfortable, and sounds good

Do a forum search. Lots of information out there.

need4speed - the question(s) you are asking have been asked

many times before in this sub-forum and have been answered

time and again by many knowledgeable forum members -

Both a google search and a forum search should answer most

of your questions as just about every issue with the 6.2 CL63

has been covered in this sub-forum -

Forum members such as BlownV8 are the ones who are going

to answer your tech questions out of the goodness of their heart

but are not on here as volunteers for a babysitting service -

BlownV8 was not being rude in answering your question(s) as

you have to be willing to help yourself -

Take the time to read thru this sub-forum and the answers to many

of your questions will be found -

Welcome to the MBWorld and good luck in your search -

Thank-You
D.B.

Those engines were known for the head bolt issue.

I'm on my second 2008 CL63 with the first one delivered new on 5/30/2007 and #2 purchased in May 2018 with 32000 miles. #2 is not a daily driver but gets out in good weather to bring a smile to my face. I kept #1 for nearly 50,000 miles with a few issues, most notably ABC suspension problems, but nothing major. The 2008 naturally aspirated 6.2 was Mercedes's first engine designed exclusively by AMG and while being quick, did not have the torque of the later, smaller twin turbo engines. What it does have is a roar similar to a Grand National stock car and mid-range power that seems endless. I enjoy driving distinctive large cars with large engines but aftermarket engine tuning is not one of my sports, so I am more than satisfied with the OE vehicle. It does look great and it's very comfortable.
