I got around and installed these fittings yesterday. While i was there i decided to do the intake manifold gaskets, bolts, pcv valve and clean out the valves.

There wasn’t too much oil in my intake having only 35k miles but the valves were pretty gunked up.

The fittings fit perfectly. I used a 90 degree and a 45 degree push lock for the pcv side of the catch can setup. It’s tight but it works. Car turned on and automatically i can feel better throttle response and it runs more smooth.

anyways thanks again JD for saving me a few hundred bucks on a Weistec setup lol

Any before shots of your intakes runners & valves? I've got the same mileage so just curious what it may look like in there...

The one thing i forgot to do was take close up pictures before cleaning. I rushed it and started cleaning right away. If you can zoom into this picture you might be able to see. They were pretty gunked up. The intake manifold runners were nasty as well. Used about 3 cans of brake clean for the whole thing. I sprayed a lot into the valves, scrubbed with towels then used a shop vac to suck up the dirty brake clean from inside

Ok, thanks! So do intake manifold gaskets tend to go out early on these cars or did you just replace for good measure while you were in there?

I just replaced it for good measure. The bolts and gaskets were about $35 plus $130 for pcv. Figured since I’m messing with the pcv, might as well replace it with a new one. It wasn’t too hard, there’s some really good write ups on here. Just label every hose you remove and you should be good
