2010 c63 AMG
P2237 Error Code

Oil won’t reach operating temperatures and fan is on full blast. I know it’s something electrical, just need to be pointed in the right direction.

They’re not.

I tend to also believe that a bad temp sensor is the only thing that will both give you zero temp reading and put the fan on full as a fail-safe default.

Didn’t read the fan on full. yes you are right if the fan was not coming on I would say thermostat

So I went and located the sensor. It’s not in the most “accessible” location. Not sure if by me tapping on the sensor or by playing with the wiring.. the fan stopped. May be a faulty wire/sensor, but the error is no longer current. The headache is def not over
