63 cut
Coasting in neutral giving the car some revs to deplete the E85, so i can swap back to 98 pump gas and the car CUTS out. Thats it. Over and out.
At present cannot start the car. It tries to crank, but nothing.
Replaced the battery with no luck.
On key ignition - all lights, twin fuel pumps stay on feeding fuel, turn the ignition to ON and tries to crank, lights on dash dim etc... No CEL or warnings ....
Alternator unlikely as the battery is new with over 1000 CCA,
Starter motor - possibly..., however engine cut out when car was on and in motion.. Perhaps the electrical to starter is fried .....
Cam shaft, Crank shaft position sensor ? maybe ....
faulty fuel pumps ?
ignition coils ...
plugs ....
Any suggestions would be valuable.
Thanks guys.

Sounds like crankshaft positions sensor, but I don't think that's as common as it was on the W203 cars. Looks like your car is heavily modified. When was the last time you changed anything? Days, weeks, months?

EDIT: Or since E85 is hygroscopic, it's possible that the E at the bottom of your tank had a high moisture content. I'd keep it simple for now. Drain the tank, get the old E out of the fuel lines, put a little bit of new E in the tank (since your car is tuned for it), and see if she starts up.

Did it throw any codes? I’d guess either a camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor, but if it was either of those the car would’ve thrown a code. If the CEL isn’t on, it's most likely a fuel issue. This might sound silly, but maybe your fuel gauge might be off and you ran out of fuel?

Its at the dealer as i type. Will let all know the outcome.

if you're on a E85 tune you may need to ask your tuner for a new map. E85 is 108-109 octane and it wouldn't be wise to switch gas without updating your engine computer mapping. even at the tune of 105 octane, is still far from 98 RON pump gas which would equate to 94 octane.
the Mercedes Bosch ECU has many fail safes built in to cut out or go into limp mode if it senses something is wrong to protect your engine.

"Twin fuel pumps - 1070 cc injectors - E85, 98 pump tune, HKS cold plugs"
From his OP it looks like he has two tunes. That's why he was trying to run out the E85.

When I ran 630cc injectors and e85 my car shut off in park in my driveway all by it self.
It was my last try to get it to run right and was the reason I took the kit off.

630cc's are big...i have 596cc's and i'd see bursts of -30 fuel trims and steady state register -23 to -27 fuel trims. this all is on a 91 octane flash tune.
what i can tell you about the computer and fueling after 3 months of fine tuning HPTuners is that, if the computer see's too rich or too lean and deems it uncorrectable, it will go into a hard limp mode and you will not be able to drive faster than 2mph.

flex fuel kits are good on stock injectors but suck with bigger injectors. Heck you might be able to run e85 without a flex kit on 600 cc injectors and let the factory ECU do its thing

So, my pain continues. Removed plugs, car will not turnover.
its seems to be seized.
We have not removed the serpentine belt as of yet to see if we can turn the crank,
Car getting shipped back to Sydney for assessment and repairs.
I am praying the bottom end is sound, rods, pistons, crank etc....
Will keep all informed.
IF ANYONE HAS SUFFERED SIMILAR PROBLEMS PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO THE POST
