JBSpeeds are only the shell and not the acrylic clear part. Does that come off easily?

Not difficult. To remove the turn signals its just two torx screws, two clips, and then it slides off.

My JBSpeed's arrived today but something seems off.

Something is different with mine versus photos... does anyone else have this body colored extension? Did my previous owner put a different model on here? (They are not the typical ugly turning signal 2009 ones)

Looks yours have been changed to a different model and not just to the 2010 and newer like most owner's used to do. The 2010 and newer W204 C63 mirrors will fit if you can find a set complete and the covers you got from JBSpeed will fit them.

looks like my I stalled mirror is from another model. See how my silver one below has an extension into a matching receiving bracket... unlike any C63 model shown in the carbon fiber picture . I have no idea what car this is from.
