W204 C63 Stereo Upgrade
I have a C63 with the non HK stereo system, can anyone recommend a company in the midlands who can supply and install a good upgrade?
Also if an aftermarket head unit is installed, can you still access the Mercedes menus?

Honestly, I wouldn't bother going through this. Bought a bunch of aftermarket gear for my C32 and didn't realize what a pain in the *** it was to get installed. You didn't mention if you have a facelift version or not, but I wouldn't replace the factory head unit for several reasons:
1. it usually looks ghetto as hell.
2. Hurts resale value
3. You'll likely lose more functionality than you'll gain. I.E. steering wheel controls, audio controls, etc.
I haven't looked at the HK system in the W204, but the Bose in the W203 had fiber optic outputs from the head unit to a factory amp. Meaning, I had to tap the output wires of the factory amp to get a signal to the new amps. If the factory amp every died, so would the whole system. Overall, it wasn't worth the time and money.
