I will double check to see if the wires are seated correctly and not kinked at all which I am sure they aren’t. Previous owner has document posts on the forums proving the system was working so I am praying it is a user error on me.
Okay, some bad news. I am getting Cylinder 2 (P0302)
and Cylinder 5 (P0305) misfire codes. Also, C0700 but I don't think this one is as bad as the other two. Now I have to diagnose this and figure out what the problem is.
Does anyone have any ideas? I did upload the eurocharged tune also IDK if this could be causing an issue.
Sounds like a similar I had with AFD. They sent me out a new harness and was good to go never had an issue again. These harnesses are Chinese junk.
So I found my culprit. Cylinders 1-6 and 8 are great. I moved the connector that goes to injectors around and which ever injector I used with the faulty connector I got a misfire code for that cylinder.
here is the connector. I removed the old electrical tape. Is there a way I can test this somehow? to make sure it is 100% faulty? Multimeter?

one question I have...the e85 tune is for use with flex fuel sensor kit or without? what I mean is, is the tune for e85 straight up without a flex fuel sensor kit.

it is with flex according to the details EC gave me. So the injector is working fine.
the connector that plugs into the injector is the problem. Any fuel injector I plug this connector into gives me a misfire for that cylinder. So I am making the assumption this connector is bad for some reason. And I honestly don’t know how to go about verifying my results before I remove this kit. I am not even sure if this is fixable at this point. Previous owner was using it perfectly but obviously something got damaged somehow with this connector.

just get an entire new harness. When I had an issue AFD sent it out for free.
So ask them for a replacement or pay for a new harness. Done...
Yup that is exactly what I am in the process of doing. Contacted eflex, contacted vrp since they carry eflex products. And if **** really hits the fan I’ll buy a AFD kit unfortunately. And sell this one if someone is willing to redo some wiring
the eflexfuel kit from eflexfuel directly has VERY well crimped pins. their harness from them will NOT have issues as they're done better than I could do using my professional wire harness crimping tool. i see that you have some sort of butt connector? that is not part of their harness. i would recommend purchasing a multimeter from harbor freight for 4 dollars and test for connectivity to the butt connector and after. the crimp at your injector connector might be the culprit if connectivity to the butt connector passes.
if it just the injector clip you can pick up a replacement EV1 pigtail on amazon and add butt connectors to rejoin to the original harness as someone else already did.
a replacement harness from eflexfuel will run 79 EUR to USD = 89.1869 US Dollars before tax and shipping at today's conversion rate. from there you'll need to cut off the ends and crimp on EV1 injector connectors.

I’ll grab a multi meter today and test. If the harness is that cheap I would prefer to just buy one but idk where to find it. I emailed them yesterday so hopefully they get back to me upcoming week.
the weird thing is I was having some other misfires and all I did was swap the ev1 connectors with other injectors and it went away. But this one connector is giving me problems. I’ll grab a replacement ev1 connector and see how it goes.
So I tested with a multimeter and that connector was bad. I ended up removing the kit waiting to hear from a company to send me a replacement harness.
This is the problem when you purchased used stuff. This isn’t the sellers fault at all but something could have got damaged during transport and no warranty of course. So loaded back my old tune. Gonna see if the car is acting as expected now.
There is a reason these kits are cheaper. I have had eurocharged kit for 3 years no issues. Buy quality period. Seen so many wiring issues with these other kits.

your 10000% right. This is the last time I will be making a mistake of buying used parts. If anyone is interested in purchased this eflexfuel kit. I’ll probably end up tossing it. But I will be keeping the injectors for AFD when I most likely purchase after I get my headers installed. I gotta focus on fixing this ground first.

correct...it'll be scaled for 997 injector as I run but shouldn't take too many datalogs for me to shore it up for your modified high flow M156 injectors. will include e50 and e80 so you can decide what fuel to run reliability. thinking of if I want to offer a "shelf" tune or custom as I've been trying to push. mind you my shelf tune isn't a "shelf tune".
with the smarts of the Bosch Motronic, honestly would run reliability even if scaled for 997 injectors. I'm guessing the computer will look to pull -8 to -13 on LTFT. ignition timing will be spot on though.

Quick update, I am in contact with eflexfuel trying to get a replacement harness. And I plan to probably sell the new harness with the box once it arrives and go with afd kit.
gonna need to figure out and take the time to fix this ground and get a new bolt/stud to drill it out.
