Hey all,

I’m at my local Stealership in San Antonio TX and I’m getting tired of getting raped every time I come here. My rational for coming to the dealership is to minimize the chances of my extended warranty company denying any claim I’d make in the future. Does anyone know, or had experience with, if extended warranty companies are ok with general routine maintenance being done at a non-MB service dept? Thoughts.?

I have a 2014 507 Sedan w/28k miles & Fidelity warranty through 2024 - and I don’t want to risk voiding my warranty.

(I know I can do it myself and save more $$ but again the warranty is my reason for getting it done by pros)

 

I have fidelity platinum as well. Never had an issue filing a claim with them. I have my Indy do maintenance and repairs. All have been covered.

 

^^ exactly what I wanted to know. There’s a small shop that does Mercedes services for a fraction of the cost - so I plan to use them going forward. Thanks.

 

I had the MB ELW and had my indy shop do all of my maintenance. Never had any warranty claim issues.
