C63 rear vibration/gear box issues (trans fluid?)

Hi all.

My car exhibits a few strange symptoms.
When driving like a grandma in traffic I get a strange vibration from the rear of the car. It feels like the rumble strip on the road. When this happens, no power is being put to the wheels until the vibration stops, usually only when the gearbox shifts up.
A few key points:
1. The problem is exasperated going up a hill and when the cars full of fuel.
2. It only happens on partial throttle, never when I'm beating on it
3. There are no issues in manual or when I'm fully sending so I am reluctant to believe it's mechanical or the symptoms would exhibit themselves all the time rather than based on driving style
4. It ONLY happens when the cars up to temps, never (and I mean literally 0 times) when cold.

I've taken it to main dealer and they've run diagnostics. There are no error codes at all and they've checked the underside (flex discs, tranny mount, bearings etc) and it's not the motor mounts as there is no rough idle and as I said it runs perfectly when cold or when I'm beating on the car.

I had a transmission fluid change and I can't really tell yet due to lack of use whether it's significantly improved the issue, but I'm aware it won't get rid of all the old fluid from one change.

Has anyone had the same symptoms as me before? Has anyone had bad tranny fluid and would these symptoms make sense, if so would changing the tranny fluid out again sort it?

Thanks very much for reading. Any advice is welcomed. I love my car and have no plans of getting rid of it anytime soon and want it properly maintained, I've just done a huge B service too. It runs beautifully when I go out for a proper drive so can still enjoy it, but want to sort this out as I've become hypersensitive.

The driveshaft rubber donuts may be worn.
These are known as guibos in the Alfa Romeo world.
I think these guibos may have built-in metal torsion stops.
Once the rubber becomes soft, the minute you give it gas, the guibos flex all the way to the metal stops and because they sit metal to metal, transmit all kinds of vibration.
I think mines are also not great.
With these it's not the miles. It's the age then the miles.

bumping this old thread as i'm having the exact same symptoms. Some say trans fluid needs to be changed. That'll be the first thing I do, but anyone else with similar symptoms have a suggestion? Mine is a 2011 (torque converter)
