PS4S Wrong Size...? $1,100 wasted?
Did I just spend $1,100 on tires that can't be returned or fit the car
2015 W204 C63 AMG Edition 507 coupe. Stock 19 inch wheels. Stock suspension/ride height.
Michelin PS4S
Front: 245/40ZR19 (98Y)
Rear: 275/40ZR19 (105Y)
The MB tech told me they don't rotate and contact the front struts. I searched the forums before purchasing and found that others are using the same setup. Beyond frustrating. What did I do wrong?

It is the /40 profile way to high, you can run 275 and 245 but much lower profiles, those tires will probably never work, that is like SUV sidewall these days.
correct size would have been 275/30-19 and 245/35-19

Ouch. I know the feeling, but you can sell them somewhere. They are still great tires for somebody. Roadkillrob has the correct set up for you.

Anyone know if I can run 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 on stock 507 wheels but with 12mm and 15mm spacers aswell as being lowered on H&R springs? or should I stay safe with 265/30/19 on the rears

Yea I ordered 265/35/19 for the rear to try to fill in that 1” gap and those rubbed on the fender if i had any passenger in the back. Learned not to make that mistake again.
Take those tires off and post em for sale

I was running 275s with spacers and I got a slight scrub when i would hit bumps at 60mph+ so i sized back down to a 265 especially since im getting H&R springs soon.. Never had issues with the 275s and no spacers tho.

Why do they put a “fatter” tire up front? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? 30 up front and 35 in the rear. Get some more meat back there?
Also has anyone tried 275/30/19 on H&R springs?

Assuming I already have H&R springs (can't see any markings but car looks dropped)
I have a 2015 507 coupe as well.
Don't wanna add spacers
Can I go 275/30/19 or stick with 265/30 to be safe? (Currently on 255)
Next the front should be 245/30 or 245/35 to correlate to the rear?

So 30% of a 275 tyre width will give you the same rolling diameter as 35% of a 255 tyre.

Another question I have is if I can go up a size in the rear to 265 but keep the fronts at stock 235. Any downsides to this? (Cant seem to find Vredestein Ultrac Vorti in a 245/35/19 anywhere locally and don't wanna pay duties if shipped from USA otherwise I would size up the fronts to a 245)

No ABS or dash lights and have been running this setup for nearly 2 years now.
One upside is the rears hook up better than the 255 that were on it when I bought the car.
The wheels are E400 wheels that are almost identical offsets to C63 18's but with 8.5" front, up from C63 8".
So 265 rears should be fine.

Maybe
I do know if you have a contact at somewhere like a discount tire or a vendor who sells your mistake tires. I have seen them able to return tires a get a correct size. I personally have tried a few different tires didn’t care for them on some of my rides and swapped them out, that includes profiles and diameter. Hope this helps
