Anyone change the thermostat without changing the coolant?
Is it possible without making a huge mess? My car has pretty new coolant. The thermostat DIY looks pretty easy and quick, but jacking up the car and draining the coolant will double my working time. Would I lose a bunch of coolant by changing the thermostat? Seems like' it's pretty high on the engine and coolant wouldn't settle there?
Thanks,
Cyrus

You lose a bit but it’s not that much... but it is pretty easy to drain the couldnt you don’t have to jack the car the drain valve is on the front driver side just loosen it and drain it quick in a container and put it back in when you have the t stat changed.

It is in the Magnusson supercharger install how to remove it, just one bolt.
