BMW does not win in the engine department...it's just that to avoid fixing problems with their crappy designs they design entirely new engines out of paper mache. those new engines obviously use newer technology that at times fail horribly. oh and roughly about when the power train warranty ends as well.

I personally will hold on to the 6.2 as long as I can.
Besides, in my opinion AMG can make a 4 cylinder sound better than BMW's inline 6.
The AMG45 doesnt sound too bad and then paired with some electric motors to get some extra power could be an epic car.
