Question about HP Tuners
I've seen that there are a few people on the forums who have switched over to HP Tuners with good results. While I'm mostly happy with my EC dyno tune, I feel the drivability under normal driving could be greatly improved.
With that said, I'd like to know what kind of costs are involved with getting it up and running. I know there's the MPVI2 unit itself, and then you need to purchase credits for your vehicle, which I think was quite a lot for the M156. Is there any other hardware of software that needs to be purchased?
Also, I realize there's the cost of the tune itself which can be hard to gauge, but I'm curious what it ended up costing for those that had it done. I figured having a thread that went into the total costs could be helpful for people who are cross shopping between EC, OE, Renntech, HP Tuners, etc.
Thanks!
