IATS
Quick question to those who's running a supercharger, be it Weistec, Magnusson or ESS tuning, whats the normal IATS values meant to be, on idle, during motorway driving, after spirited driving?
What range of IATS is considered optimal for the setup? and at what temp does engine ECU starts to cut timing?
I understand that the lower temp the better, achieavable via meth injection, killer chiller or interchiller.
I would like to know the values without these cooling aids to learn a bit more on how to proceed with any further changes.
Thanks in advance

Depends on the outside weather, so normal will vary lots depending on locate and weather.
When I did dyno pulls with the 60mm the IAT went up pretty quick. I can't recall exact figures. Hook up a ODB log and go for a drive, it will show you the intake temps, normal spirited driving, Id say around 40c if I remember correctly.

Thanks for clarification.
Yeah, i am aware it very much depends on outside weather.
My IATS ranges between 35-50C from a run with outside temp ranging 19-23C
So i guess thats about right/ok.

Cruising around on a 30 degree day with 60mm pulley 50 IATS but do a pull and it will reach to 70 real quick
Icing at the track with 60mm pulley no more then 30 degrees by the end of a run
