Hey all - new member seeking advice. 2013 C63 AMG 2-door - have has the car about 6 months (and love it).
Last night moved drivers seat fully forward while not sitting in it - to look for garage remote lost under seat. Found the remote but now seat is jammed in fully forward position! It seems the electric motor is only engaging on one side. Have seen on net that seat motor mount plate can twist and cause this issue. There is apparently a billet replacement mount plate you can buy in US - I’m in Australia...
Questions -
Anyone had same problem and how did you proceed?
Does the same year sedan drivers seat complete base fit the coupe - are they the same/compatible?
How hard to remove and replace yourself? Have some mechanical ability but worried about the electrical wizardry- airbags, etc....
Any advice, thoughts, or experience greatly appreciated. Pic of my beauty...
