HPTuners Tune Review (Tuner hachiroku)

that ignition timing was given to me by the ecu. We don’t have ignition timing set that high. The ecu determines what’s safe. it won’t deliver optimal timing if it doesn’t feel the need too. There’s plenty of n/a motors aside from our that do 31-32 degrees of timing n/a on pump gas. Eurocharged forces the timing on v7 to hit 30+ degrees and raises the minimum timing no matter the conditions if safe or not... makes you wonder why you read “eurocharged issue threads” the cars ecu don’t like it and eurocharged solution is to unplug a battery... so I think it’s more scary to run a tune that forces timing and ignores the ecu in terms of safety.
Are you trying to tell me 31-32 is maximum allowed but the knocksensors are screaming so the ecu brings the timing down?
If so:
That´s not how to use the knock control, the knock control should only react if having bad fuel or some other parameter failing so the sensors starts to send loud signals to the ecu, and ecu brings the timing down in sequences to ensure engine safety, one should never rely on the knock control to give you maximum power when having set the value to high, as this becomes really laggy.

Try to explain that to me again, please.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spark_ionization
Spark ionization (also known as spark source ionization) is a method used to produce gas phase ions from a solid sample. The prepared solid sample is vaporized and partially ionized by an intermittent discharge or spark. This technique is primarily used in the field of mass spectrometry.

For any who want to read up on the logic behind the Bosch Motronic ME7.x computer which is 2 generations behind our ME9.7 computer, I've included a link below. There hasn't been any documentation made public on the Bosch Motronic 9.x computers that I am aware of. One thing to note, most multimillion dollar race teams and OEM race teams utilize Bosch Motorsports computers not Motec, but you hear a great deal about Motec. Sometimes, having a big name simply means more money was spent on marketing.

all the different abbreviations relate to a different map within the Bosch Motronic computer that are utilized in in final power delivery calculations.

Update review with new “Hammer Tune”:
Barry, started working on these new maps for the last 10+ weeks. He finally sent me a updated file this week. Had a chance to load it up and take it out today. This is his finest work to say the least. The car shifts so smooth. The torque on low input throttle reminds me of a m157. Throttle response is tremendous. Everything from A to Z is super refined in this tune file. WOT getting on an on ramp the car pins you in the seat and pulls away from the traffic with an F U attitude.
