Left rear indicator not working warning
As part of this the tail light assembly was removed. After collecting the car I noticed the left rear indicator warning showing as well as the light blinking on the dash faster. Sure enough the LEDs are not flashing. I checked all the wiring and connections, everything appears to be as it should be. The panel beater had their auto electrician check it over and they've concluded, despite the fault coming up while they had the car and the light unit out, they did nothing wrong and the unit is faulty.
Can anyone recommend what to check if there is anything I have missed. Is this an easy fix or will the whole tail light unit need replacing? Car is an 09 wagon.
Thanks

it’s highly suspect that the same corner that was hit and worked on somehow coincidentally turned out to be faulty.
