2010 C63 , best oil and filter to use changing oil
Hi all I just wanted to see what feed back is out there fresh feed back as I am going to do an oil change on my 2010 c63 W204 . Now I wanted to put it out there
I’m thinking liq molly or Motul oil now being in Sydney I was thinking 5w40.which oil grade and brand have you found best .
car has 116,000 kms in her ,when I owned my15 Wrx Sti I would always do a oil flush ,now I see all this and that about is it good or no good .... is there any particular brand of oil filter and oil velocity one would recommend as I wish to take the best of care of my Machine keeping it well oiled as they say ...
also any links would be appreciated I had been looking at things on line, wanted sydney siders advice in our climate, I wanted to sign up and ask those whom have the same car as myself and how they have maintained to a high standard their cars.
thank you all in advance have a great weekend

I'm in Sydney also and use Liqui Moly Leicthlauf 5w40.with Liqui moly additive.
Last oil change I added Ceratec and this time I added MOS2 .
I'll add MOS2 again next change then back to Ceratec in a couple of oil changes time from now.
Btw when I first got mine in 2017 I used Nulon 0w40 and had the usual ticking so after forum advice changed to 5w40 and use Liqui Moly products.

In my first AMG i ever had(c36) i tested liguimoly, i actually poured it out after two weeks, the tappets have never sounded that bad as when i used that one, it was 10w-40 something.
But this was several years ago, oils have maybe changed since.
What i wanted to state is that one recommendation that one user recommends doesn´t need to work in your engine.
