Steering issue (any help appreciated)
Hello all! This is absolutely driving me crazy. About a week ago, the steering on my 09 C63 got super tight (still drivable), and sometimes it'll make a super loud screeching noise. I checked the power steering fluid and its full, I looked underneath and there's no power steering leaks or any swelling on the steering rack. I'm not sure what to do. Could somebody help me out?? I included the video, and you can see how tight the steering is and you could hear the noise to (ignore me and my buddy)

Hard to tell anything from the video but mostly there are 2 things that seem to happen to C63 steering.
First - filter clogs in power steering reservoir, it is built into and the fix is replace the reservoir which is cheap, $50 or so and then change the fluid while you are at it. It will cause lack of fluid getting to rack and make some noise.
Second - pump gives up - usually after a lot of lock to lock donuts - expensive as you have to replace the pump.
I don't think I have ever heard of someone doing a new rack, maybe one time but the rack is the most reliable part of the steering system.
