Are other OBDII channels working? Can you see live coolant and airbox temp data?

PM me your email and I can send you the vehicle profile (.rcz) I am using.

Jasonoff, still no luck. I used the profile you sent me uploaded to racechrono and the gearbox temp never showed a reading but the other two displays both showed values.
I just don't understand. I am using OBDlinkmx+. Mine is a 2015 507. I guess i have no choice but to try the icarsoft and see if that can show a value..
what a pain in the *** this has turned out to be, lol. But I sure appreciate all the help you have offered.

I have to say, when I first tried Torque, before I loaded any predefined chrysler or custom pids it would show a value that seemed pretty reasonable in the Trans Temp method 1, as I mentioned earlier in the thread.
It seemed like it could have be an accurate value as it was between 170s and 208°F depending on conditions. Any chance that Torque trans temp.method 1 could have been accurate?

Not sure what you're doing wrong, sorry. I was messing around with Torque Pro maybe 2 years ago and had trans temp accurately displayed with the same details provided here. The preloaded Chrysler PID wasn't correct. I actually think it was showing the same as coolant temp but I could be wrong.

I have a 2010 so it's possible the MCT uses a different hex address.

Thx for the reply and all the help.
The trans temp method 1 i first used in torque definitely wasn't coolant temp, as it was in the 170s with airflow. Also I hadn't created a car profile in torque or added the predefined chrysler pids yet, it was just a reading from obdmx+ to the Torque app with no info loaded or entered by me at all. I wonder if that was it.
will try icarsoft later this week, which would be kind of inconvenient at the track with the wire, etc. And maybe I can compare icarsoft to that bare torque app method 1 reading I had early on.

If anyone is following this and trying to track trans temp, icarsoft does NOT work for trans temp on a 2015 507 either, despite the video posted earlier in this thread. It shows a 'failure to connect' when you try to choose manual diagnosis and select the 'transmission control module' and if you choose automatic diagnosis the trans module does not come up on the list after it runs through all the modules. But it does work on codes.

From what I can tell trying all of these different ways it seems the torque app pro with NO custom pids and NO downloaded preset pids is the only method that has showed what seemed like a reasonable value that could be an accurate trans temp for the MCT under the "Transmission Tempetature method 1". So I will go back to that for my next track day.

I got on the 2 month long waiting list for a weistec trans pan as insurance against trans heat at the track.

sounds good to me. Might help on price but I doubt it would speed them up.

I.have one last track day next week, then its mod time: lsd, kw coilovers, trans pan and trailer all have been ordered and I hope to have them done by Feb sometime.

KW has a 10-12 week backorder to ship from Germany on most kits including clubsport.
