Take a look at this video.
There is fine print, but I think they were in the right direction.
The drivetrain comes out in one piece with subframe and radiator.
They clearly did some prep work, but I still see this as ... interesting.

 

Almost how they put it in at the factory, wonder what that part is that falls out just when they start to lift the car?

I mean the access is luxurious once you have the drivetrain on a cart. I see the motor mounts still attached and even the steering rack is still there.
Doing headers would be a child's play.
But for someone that does not have a full size lift, the trolley would have to be customized.
I wonder if something like this can even happen with a quick jack and a much lower trolley.

I mean, in theory it's not difficult to weld something together.
But this guy did his homework, saw how things happen on the assembly station and did the same.
Thinking about this:
The drivetrain comes out without draining any fluids, maybe just plugging the fuel lines.
Disconnecting some connectors, steering joints, looks like the bumper was in the way, undertray, driveshaft for sure and portion of exhaust.
The intake manifold stayed on.

 

I like how they made the cart white to match the amazingly clean garage. Very pleasing.
