EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads
My car is now out of service plan, and I need to replace the front and back pads.
I'm in South Africa, so options are limited locally. I can import, but it adds cost.
We have an agent for EBC brakes, and I can get the EBC Yellow Stuff pads.
Have any of you guys run these pads, and how did you find them compared to OEM.

These are the pads I can get.
I don't currently need discs, but will in the next year.
Discs from the agents are stupid expensive, so I may as well import a nice 2 piece rotor.
I have looked on the forums, and I see most people recommend the Racing Brake or the Girodiscs.
Any other options I should be looking at?
Who has the best pricing on the Racing Brake and Girodiscs products.

I've been using EBC Yellows on my C63 and my last Holden Senator with an LS2 engine.
I don't track my car but as a street only high performance pad I find them really good.
They have bite from cold and have yet to fade them.
they are a little less dusty than the original pads but have much better cold feel.

I have EBC Yellows installed front and rear on my W202 C43. I confirm that the pad bites hard from cold and for street and some spirited driving they are good. I did cook them when driving down a mountain pass, but I was really giving it the beans and braking very very hard. I think they give off less dust than the OEMs and they are lasting a lifetime. Imagine that I'm still running the discs and pads installed back in 2012 and I've done close to 100k km. Both pads and discs have plenty of life left in them. Amazing!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like you have been impressed with the EBC pads. I think I will go this route. It's cheaper than OEM, and available in South Africa.

IMO; "EBC Red stuff" & "Yellow stuff" are really super awesome pads..
,
they are for street use, but NOT prefer to use them for track,,
i think , "Blue stuff" & "Orange stuff" are specifically designed for track..![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I've ordered a set of Yellow Stuff Pads.
Will see how they perform.
No track use planned anytime soon, but hopefully early next year we can have some track time.
Do you guys just run the standard Mercedes brake fluid, or is there something better.
I'm wondering if I should do a full brake fluid flush while I'm at it. Car is 6 years old now. Flush out all the old fluid, and fill with new.
