Welp, pretty confused
So just recently got my headers installed and since I have gotten the car back every time I turn and accelerate i feel grinding under the gas pedal along with i can hear it inside and outside of the car..
My shop is telling me this normal for the headers to rub due to the size of the headers vs stock to accommodate for airflow..
He is also saying he sees rubbing near the steering shaft but there isn't much he can do.
I am concerned because my car did not make these sounds when just turning ever until I had my headers installed.
Someone please shed some light on this for me, I cant see this being normal as it sounds like hell.
Edit: Also being told my motor mounts are starting to wear, I have less than 20k on them.. normal?

Worn motor mounts will lower your engine and potentially cause the header pipes to rub. I’d look first at the transmission tunnel cross brace because that’s the most common rub area. Second, check to see if your cats are touching anywhere. Header fitment is more art than science, and sometimes it takes multiple tries to find the config that doesn’t rub. Trial and error. Replace your motor mounts while you’re at it - if they’re toast you won’t ever get the fit right.
