Impressive to get that much HP with the stock camshafts...
I knew there had to be some datapoints out there. So on these 400CI ford and chevies, they are getting all the way up to 1100 and 1200 HP at the engine N/A. They are spun high and the heads flow around 450 CFM to get it done.

bruh...that **** is pretty much NASCAR. idles at 2.6k. probably costs 50-70k. ya just like i mentioned earlier...

Mild work on the heads(no actual porting), tuned itb inlet manifold,equal length longtube headers, and some hot bumpsticks would do the trick.
If wanting to rev high, light forged pistons and some lightweight good rods are the way to go.
Bumpsticks would need about 16mm lift on intake valves to get use of the heads fully.
Solid lifters,special retainers and valvesprings to allow for the lift.
Itb manifold would need about 55-60mm throttleblades.

I want to know what the bore x stroke of those pushrod tractor motors are.
im betting they are massively over square.
Ita pretty much the same way Turbine engines make 4,000 horsepower. The PT shaft spins at 15,000 RPM.

David said they're very timing consuming to produce. Very nice pieces of art though as his design reuses the drive by where motors to keep the throttles in line with factory electronics.

In his 582whp dyno he made peak power at 7000rpm and only revved to 7300rpm. He has a nice strong and no doubt responsive race motor, but it isnt anything special in terms of rpm limits. He seems like a good machinist and nerdy enough to make his own well engineered parts, but he hasn't expanded his powerband at all, which is a disappointment after reading all of these claims of 9k etc.... If he revved it to 9k in its current form I doubt he would be making enough power beyond 3rd gear to even accelerate there, the cams are just too small and with peak power at 7k he has the same powerband as all of us, with torque already falling. Hopefully his cams and rods work out and he can rev it higher.

I haven't really looked into extensibly modifying my c63 its just a FBO car, but I help build and race all motor Hondas that produce some great numbers we've run these cars on M1, M5 and different percentages of Nitromethane. M1 and M5 would be a great way to make some amazing power out of the m156 any you wouldn't have to change any internals just keep in FBO. The big factor would be delivering fuel, the factory system would not be able to run M1 or M5. Just a thought I'm surprised nobody has tried using doing this already. If they have I would be interested to see what the gains are, I would imagine somewhere of 100hp gains just by switching to M5.

That's a very "low" rpm to make 582rwhp ( ~725 HP engine ) out of 382 cubes... Imagine if the power peak was at 8500 instead with the same torque curve, simply shifted to the right by 1500 RPM. That would be 707 rwhp or around 875 HP engine HP.

The powerloss isnīt a static percentage.
All who is saying that are fooling themselfes.
If having 100hp loss at 400whp it isnīt 143 at 582whp.
Itīs still around 100 hp loss with a minor increase in loss, say 5-10hp, making it about 110whp loss in total.
