So...

-Mobil 1 0W-40 is now a Corolla oil?
-Changing from a 5W-30 to a 5W-40 seasonally maximizes longevity on a M156?

FFS, Mercedes specifically has a clause in their spec for the M156 that calls out 0W-40 or 5W-40.

The only reasonable deviation to this is running a thicker oil in very hot climates or in certain highly-modified engines, which are exception cases with limited data.

this, there is positively no reason to be running a “thinner” oil

Sorry was sick for a a long time and is just about to read it all through again. Havnt had time to change oil yet.

I called MB again and got the most arrogant answer so far "We dont care, we are DIRECTLY owned by mercedes deilmer and we dont do this things wrong, if you want oil change again do it yourself"
I was chocked lol... But they forgot their OBD in my car and when I told her that, she said, "oooh do you live close? It would be nice if you could return it" and I answered, "and it would be nice if you just changed my oil which you should have done in the first place" ended the call right after that. What a b*tch.

Anyway, a problem have accured, and im not sure its because of the oil but it still isnt changed. I will do it this week, for a 5w-40 more expensive kind.

Now my car is getting this rattling thing going on, just for about 1-2 secs on stand still. Its like it shakes for a sec then stops. Not big, but you feel it in the car. Happends from time to time. And my dad owned a 2008 c63 before, and never felt that when I drove his.

When driving at about 60mph, speed limiter. My rev needle is jumping ever slightly. From about 1.800 rpm up to 1.900 rpm, down to 1.800 rpm etc etc. And thats when I keep a constant 60 mph on a straight. Didnt do that before, I think anyway. Can this be the oil? Or that they overfilled it? Belt? Im going to check everything tomorrow. But I just turned "well" again so im going slowly.

Will read everything here as well, but seems like a lot of arguments going on so ill need my sleep now lol and read it through tomorrow.

Lastly, thank you all for you input, it is much appreciated! And sorry for my bad english, im trying to be as correct as possible

Cheers all!
