De-chrome query
Hi to all, first post here and its a fantastic forum hands down. This is my gem that I've owned for almost two years now.
The car is 100% stock mechanically including the exhaust, although would you class the full de-chrome and tints to be a modification albeit only cosmetic.? What are your thoughts and thank you in advance

I also want to de-chrome my white C63. I think it looks good! although I have the silver/platinum or whatever 507 rims.. so I'd still have some chrome.. that and the exhaust tips.. But I want to do the badges and window trim.. I think it looks good!

Yes definitely apparently its known as the storm trooper mod (as fellow member Mort previously mentioned) rightly named after the Star Wars saga I believe. Absolutely makes a huge difference to the all white and chrome stock format that's just felt a little bland imho.
I'm certain your wheels will paint gloss black just fine at any decent wheel painting specialist. Also what would best way to achieve black exhaust tips.?

Looks great..maybe consider debadging the emblems and blacking out the license plate cove in the rear if you are looking for further cosmetic mods.

The car looks amazing! Really stunning 507, and now I can really see how our polar white cars really benefit from the de chroming no question about it. Also the number plate cove is something I may very well consider although I think it better suits the plates you have on your side of the pond.

I went for a bit of chrome plus a bit of red left on the car. Just looks better than full blackout IMHO. Not a fan of dark headlights or dark taillights. I left the calipers and taillights red.
