You see BlkRokt.... You allllmost shut down a good thread
Now. Back to the popcorn.
Seriously. I think there are valid points made and I wish someone would do a shootout but more for quality bit necessarily power as they all might put up close numbers.
I'll scour the web and see what I can find for up close pics of welds and materials to post in the original thread.
If any vendor wants me to put up my car for a test on the dyno I'd be happy to oblige
i'll stay out of commenting on either situation, but for what its worth, MBH has awesome build quality.
Oh for sure, they certainly do look amazing. The guy who ceramic coated mine was incredibly impressed with them. He handles a lot of headers for for the Barra and Holden fans out here and these were by far the best quality header's he'd ever seen.

sounds like you'll need someone to custom tune each configuration if it happens.
I still send Customers to MBH for products I don't offer. I could care less what Mike says about me lol. Yea they are great quality. Does that make them worth $3,000 on a ~$10,000 car? no. They're overbuilt to be totally honest given where the platform is currently Sorry, but the parts EVERY SINGLE M156 owner needs shouldnt cost 1/2 of a Whipple supercharger kit. Going on almost 200 sets of headers sold, 0 failures, 0 Warranty issues, Just smiling faces and Faster cars. I ordered 100 sets of the "Shardul headers" from the manufacturer. If you have a problem with the VRP Ones don't worry we have the Chinese ones too, if you are insistent on them being better quality than the VRP Branded I will be sure to quote you in our marketing material
Incase anyone is comparing, we've got
VRP Branded on sale currently for $1,350 (18 Month Warranty)
and
The "Sharduls" For $1,100 Shipped in the USA

Can you find me a couple c63‘s for $10k. Clean titles of course.
Besides, anyone should avoid VRP.
I made a very bad experience with your copied poor designed product and the worst about it is you (VRP) didn‘t stand behind it.
Shardul‘s headers are from China. Where are your headers from?

W211 E63s can be found for $10k easily. I have seen c63s 8-12k in various conditions with clean titles.
Also Curious as to what product youve ever purchased from us.. You purchased the Shardul headers, Not ours.

Am I the foreigner here or what? I thought I have a hard time reading English.
I didn't ask for E63's, and you can't find C63's for around $10k in the US currently. $15k is the lowest priced C63 at the moment.
since you asked.
I purchased the catch can fittings. They did not clear the airbox clip.
Since VRP came in to talk smack. This was my experience with them. Felt like a shrug off so decided to not use any of their products for my race car build.

Your experience was us telling you that we hadn't tried the EGR plates on the M156? Not sure how that's considered a negative experience
They would not have fit by the way. So it looks like your experience saved both of us time. The new version with a slotted bolt hole do fit however.

They were designed that way initially, There was no "not standing behind the product" There was no failure, They required you to trim the Clip. We now have a new version with angled fittings.

That wasn't the first time this VRP account didn't reply to a PM btw. Just one example.
Not replying to an offer to help your brand is worse than telling me to take a hike. If you don't see that, maybe that's the problem?
Imagine if you replied and told me these 55AMG blockoff plates wouldn't work after you found out. That would have been great to hear an and indication you give a crap about the community;
Just constructive criticism. Many members here talk outside of this forum and VRP has a bad rep with pretty much everyone I know.
Oh ok, the fact we dump hundreds of thousands of dollars into product development and research for old platforms instead of solely working on the newest platform doesn't say we care about the community? or the fact that we are active on like 15 different Facebook groups, arguably probably the most active vendor on all of them? Who else released new products for 156 and 113k in the last year? Not to mention our 3l Gen 5 whipple kit for 156 is nearly complete and will underprice the market drastically. With all components being made in the USA
The only person that gets on this forum is our Marketing Manager, She is not supposed to respond to DMs, So you get responses from me once a month or so. Hundreds of customers per month have no problem Emailing, Anyone can do the same. Infact most of my DM replies are "send us an email at Info@vrpspeed.com" MBworld DM is not an official communication channel for our company.

Always some sort of excuse. We see this BS from vendors all the time like broken record. That's excellent you do other things in high profit margin areas. That's NO excuse to neglect the low profit margin areas.
BTW, thanks for the PM asking about my post like I was asking for a free part. Pure class with this BS filler replay...

Are you ****ting me? Trimming a clip which is there to hold the intake in place is pretty bad. I’m not going to attach the whole email conversation.
Long story short trimming the clip was not mentioned in the email conversation since you probably didn't know it at that point and after me asking if I could get a partial store credit...... no response.
That is not standing behind your product and mistakes.
Obviously you didn't spend much on developing the fittings since you probably didn't even put your hand on weistec'c fittings to properly copy them. Any Chinese backyard company would do a better job by just reverse-engineer the fittings.
