None. They run best without oil.

If you like popcorn, you can also just put 3 sticks of butter and a cup of popcorn kernels in the oil fill location. Run the car for 5min for a delicious (and healthy) snack.

Make sure it's mercedes 229.5 spec (not 229.51 or 229.52 they are for different applications).
0w-40 for climate with colder weather, 5w-40 for warm climates without cold weather.
A lot of people and shops use Mobil 1 synthetic or liquimoly. I use pennzoil platinum euro 5w-40.
Try reading these as a starter:

welcome to the internet where a search is only as far as your fingers will take you.
everyone will have their differing options, but my preference is 5w-40 LiquiMoly MolyGen or 5w-40 Motul XCess 8100 with 2 cans of LiquiMoly MoS2. stay away from that generic Mobil 1 stuff. it'll work but there is obviously better out there.

LiquiMoly bluebottles are a standard synthetic oil without antifriction additives beyond required certifications. you'll need to add MoS2 or Ceratec to this.

MolyGen does not meet the standards that are required by Mercedes and the M156 engine due to excess amounts of antifriction additives.

i'm not an expert on each standard, but it is my understanding if you go beyond a given range acceptable for anti friction additives, you'll be out of spec. MoS2 for every engine I own and for anyone who I've recommended the additive to has only shared the same exact thoughts on the product as myself. the engine will run smoother and feel as though more power is available. Ceratec not so much as it's a different product for a different purpose which is why Ceratec should be cycled in every 2 oil changes or every 20k miles. for me Ceratec has less of a positive impact that MoS2, but i'm using Ceratec to fill microholes with its ceramic additive to assist protection through oil film height.
i only recommend things that i have tried myself if they work.

Ive got to step up my meme game.
I decided to try the molygen for the last oil change and I’ll not be going back.
My idle quality is improved (I believe because my lifters are staying pumped up) my starts are quieter, my hot starts aren’t as tappety as they used to be. That’s all I needed to hear.
My suspicion about the MB spec has got a lot to do with the oil viscosity as they are trying to use an oil with as little parasitic drag as possible.
I am not so sure about the additives exceeding spec not being ok though. API specs are always written as “meets or exceeds” insert spec here. It is generally accepted to exceed the spec as being an acceptable practice.
While special, the M156 is certainly not unique in terms of its oil requirements. It still has Babbitt coated bearings, it has aluminum cam journals, and many other “features” that all engines have had for decades. I think MB is mostly trying to be difficult.

I can't say I know anything about anything, but my experience with Molygen is the same as The Machinist. Smooth and spooky quiet.

So it would seem the Molygen 5w-40 seems to be making things much quieter. Seeing the first reviews and positive comments, I would go for this one when changing my engine oil. Probably we can also do away with the additional additives.
However after searching the LiquiMoly internet page for Switzerland where I live, they don't stock Molygen. They only have the purple/blue stuff. Need to search around.
