Did pre facelift cars get the MCT?

Did pre facelift cars get the MCT?
Hi All, i was under the impression that pre-facelift cars (prior to 2012) had the 7G tronic (torque converter) transmission and Mercedes only introduced the MCT in 2012 and newer cars, BUT VIN decoding a few pre-2012 cars shows the option: '427 AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-Speed Sport Transmission'
has anyone come across this? thanks

2012 C63 P31 Sedan
I think in some markets, the facelift C63 was released as a 2011 model year. So while there are some 2011 facelift models with the MCT, there are no pre-facelift models with the MCT trans.
