I have been trying to buy either a new or a used set of 507 original black wheels for my 2014 sedán, or even a single front wheel (a2044012500 7X71), which I have bent, without success. I am desperate!! I would be very grateful, and gladly pay a finder's fee, for any help in locating either a set or a single front wheel, to be shipped at my cost to Mexico City. Thanks!!
While those ebay wheels have been refinished, they do look legit. Here are a couple photos of an extra wheel i had a few years ago - since been sold.

The wheels in the earlier ebay ad do look legit and forged as the size is engraved.
These wheels all though they look like 507's they look to be cast not forged.
I thought all 507 wheels were forged unless they changed to or from forged somewhere along the production run
Forged wheels are engraved and cast wheels have sizing cast in as in pics above.

I wouldn’t trust anything on eBay to be authentic. Ever. Unless you have private communications with the buyer, they have a perfect buyer rating, over 50 feedback, and they send you time-stamped photos as proof (or even better does a video call). Anyone can grab photos of authentic wheels.

The wheels pbaylog posted are how every other black oem 507 wheel looks like, they're not cast. Do you think they would continue to sell the 507 wheel as forged while APPtech (the wheel manufacturer) somehow changes the production run to cast? That seems like a conspiracy theory similar to faking the moon landing.

What I'm seeing is, that these OEM wheels have raised lettering in the mounting face which usually denotes casting.
Maybe OEM 507's are actually cast and not forged as others have alluded to.
My W205 cross spoked wheels are forged and the sizing is etched into the inner lip of the rim.
There are similar wheels on other Mercedes models that are cast and they have the raised lettering like yours.

Mercedes says they're forged, and APPtech the company that manufactures them only makes forged wheels, *puts on aluminum foil hat* but for this one instance they decided to make cast wheels for a limited run and not tell anyone. I've had fully forged (past BBS x 2 and now W205 C63) , flow formed and cast wheels.
I agree with you that 507 wheels are published as being forged and they probably are, having never seen one in person.
But it is what my eyes are seeing on that pic in post#5.
My 3 sets of forged wheels have all had the specs either stamped on or engraved.
On the other hand my flow formed wheels had cast dia specs on hub but width stamped in.
Thanks to all for your interest in this thread and for your help. I was finally able to purchase one used front original wheel in good condition in London.
