Books, literature on M156/M159 engine design?
Hello all - are there any specific publications on the M156/M159 engine and its design and development? I'm trying to find detailed info and haven't come up with much aside from Mercedes press releases and some Youtube videos on assembly.

There are also some very detailed engine videos from AMG. Complete tear downs as well as technical information videos. They’re old and have been posted here before, can probably find searching here or Google.

If you're looking for work instructions, get the factory service manual, known as the WIS.
If you're looking for video instructions, there are only as mentioned some videos of assembly and tear downs. You need torque values etc and those won't give you that.
If you're looking to learn the design features of the engine, then you have to pay Mercedes like I did and begin rummaging through the Mercedes dealer info server. You pay by the hour.
If you look back to my posting you will find some design features.

I recently read about the M156/M159 engine design. But it was pretty confusing. That's why it's better to watch the video on youtube. I can find some later when I finish writing the essay. I need help writing a definition essay, no way I can figure out what to write.
