Hey guys, been lurking here for about 2 years while searching for a C63 coupe. Finally bought one in July and just made an account so I could try to buy a car cover off a member and looks like I’ll have to make some posts first.
Car is a 2015 507 coupe with black on black Nappa interior. Really wanted a white on black with white exterior or a Magno with black on black but overall condition trumped my desire for a different interior colour.
Bought it from a MB dealer with 46,xxx kms and all service records from the same dealer which were all on Carfax and all done on or ahead of schedule. 1 owner that sold it to them in anticipation of moving to Spain to retire. Absolutely beautiful condition.
Wish I would have found it last summer as COVID pricing was probably 5k more this year but couldn’t pass it up.
Love it so far except for the anemic rear fenders. Passing on the highway I still talk to myself out loud sometimes, usually “holy f this thing is fast”.
Planned immediate mods are clear side markers, wrap all chrome black, remove secondary cats, black badges. Might look at adding a red stripe over black on the front bumper and rear diffuser to carry on the red from the calipers but we’ll play with that at the wrap shop and see how it looks before we install.
Might look at a hakiroku tune or TCU tune and considering an ESS supercharger but not until next winter.
Will also be going in to a shop for an estimate on custom metal fender extensions. Already have an estimate for installing the GBG flares but think we can do metal for close to the same price. Obviously new wheels to follow. May do a full wrap in blue.
Anyway, that’s the novel for now and appreciate everyone that has posted all the extremely helpful info on the forum over the years.
