Hello everyone.

Im looking at buying a new charger as I'm sick of my battery going flat when the car is not in use.

Has anyone used and installed a Ctek MXS10 charger before?

Do you connect it directly to the battery? or do you need to connect it from the front of the car? all the info I find conflicts itself...some say you MUST install it in the front as there is a charging ecu that monitors voltage and if you connect it direct to the battery it misses it...is that true?

Any advice would help as I don't want to then be landed with an expensive bill to fix it

thanks!

I do it in the front, the owner manual even says that.

I connect my Ctek 7 to the front connections and just leave until next time I use the car.
Because my garage is so small I regularly have to start my car several times to move it in and out with out actually driving any where.

Thanks for that, so sounds like most connect it to the front opposed to straight off the battery
