Lock Chirp (or is it Horn) fading

Hi All,

In my facelifted w204, where the car can be set to chirp when locking the vehicle. The chirp is starting to sound a little odd. Does the car have two horns? It sounds like it does, one on the passenger side and one on the driver side?

The chipping comes from the one on the driver side, any know how hard it is to replace? or is there an easy fix for the chirp starting to sound odd. Kinda sounds like a little bird now... lol... doesn't suit the car at all!

There is an option in the cluster to turn it on and off. You could always try that first.

I had something similar on my C32 (W203). I had to take off the wheel/ wheel liner to replace it. Not sure if it's the same on the W204
