Anyone Familiar With This Car ???
Been looking on AutoTrader and this one caught my eye. I actually was planning to buy this exact same car new from a dealer in Seattle. We had been in negotiations for almost a month, when Boeing made me an offer I couldn't refuse to take a promotion and relocate to Huntsville, Alabama! I had about 30 days to pack up and stat my new job, so I passed on the C63 and kept my CLK430. My CLK stayed as my DD til a pothole @ 75mph bent 2 wheels and I decided 285,000 miles, 2 destroyed wheels and a transmission whine was time to buy something new. I missed out on a Mars Red E550 and ended up buying a 2013 Black on Black E550 that had been traded in buy it's original female owner with 36,000 miles. AWESOME car, but I'm a sucker for Red sports cars!!! We recently sold off our investment property and I'm trying to resist buying a Ferrari!!!! I really don't know much about the C63s of this platform, but other than my wife's 99 C280, my CLK was the best car I've ever owned. Anyone familiar with this car? Is the owner a member here?? Good and bads for this platform??
I'm retired now.....my wife averages 3.6 miles a week driving and I average about 12.3. Thanks in advance!!!!
