C63 W204 Dashboard Removal
Hi all,
I am new to this forum, but not to C63 Ownership. i own a Fire Opal Red C63 Coupe
My vehicle was broken into someone attempted to steal it.
the botton of the Dash was rippedd apart near the EIS unit
I have purchased a New dash and started removing most stuff from it
is there any guide anywhere on how to remove the Dashboard. i am guessing i will need to remove the steering wheel as well
thanks,

I would check the MB WIS. Everything should be explained in there, but you need to subscribe or get a clone version. At the time you could subscribe for the WIS for short periods (days or weeks) but don't know if it's still available.

re: airbag - if you haven’t had the Takata recall done yet, just take it to a dealer and they should sort it out for you (hopefully free)

I am a novice but i gave it a try most screws are T20 Torx
remove the dash vents by using a plastic pry tool
remove surrounding plastics
remove the parking sensor and the vent that is around it. there is a tricky screw there
basically remove all screws you can see
remove the A pillar cover theres a screw under the air bag clip
remove the screens and intrument cluster
remove the centre console
remove the steering wheel
there is many hidden screws what i done was removed what I can and pulled the dash to see what is holding it
i would not want to do it again
i found replacement clips withh need to strip and crimp them together and hopefully will not get an air bag light

Did you pull the negative battery cable before doing the dash removal? If not you will likely get a SRS dash warning light regardless of whether the clips work or not. Not all diagnostic software can reset the light.
Good job getting the dash off and replaced.

Yes was completely disconnected, but because i done it over a few days i did connect the battery whilst the airbag was disconnected which is why the drivers side light is on. i have managed to find the connectors will need to wire them in and get it reset by main dealer.
i don't think i would want to pull another dahboard apart after doing this.

I'm not picking on OP but this type of post is all too often the case. User drops in and asks for help but there is none because no one on the forum has done it either, but then the person who wanted help doesn't document what they did to further the community.
