Unicorn blood is what those kits are, so rare and haven't seen one for sale in probably 4 or 5 years even. At one time you could order the individual parts of the kit as replacement parts even though the kit was discontinued, but I think it was about 2x the money to do it that way but depending on how desperately you want it. You can definitely buy the cooler itself still for about $500 as it is just the SLS cooler.

Even if you don't track your car the https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...4o-option.html option is worthwhile IMHO, even with daily driving and some spirited driving moments from time to time. The oil temperature will always remain on the safe side.

You have a few options, the SLS cooler sounds legit.
Here’s the deal, your center cooler is full of junk, take it out and bang it against a trash can. I bet it will drop a few degrees…
SRG_C63 sells a very nice cooler, he’s on here and on Instagram. This is for sure the best option.
Here’s what I did, and it’s not for the faint hearted. I had my local race shop take off the oil cooler lines and weld on AN fittings. Then we plumed oil lines into a custom center cooler. I’m testing out a huge one next week. PM me for more details.
I hate seeing my oil temps 221 on the highway at minimal. Sometimes up near 228…my R8 rarely sees 220 on track lately lol!!!!

This is actually not true. 80% of the individual parts are still in stock in Germany. Extremely hard to order and getting lucky with Mercedes actually sending them is more accurate.
