Coupe vs Sedan Car Cover Fitting
I need to store my C63 Edition 507 coupe outside in SoCal for a few months. I prefer OEM covers but they are getting hard to find it seems. Anybody know if the OEM car covers for the sedans fit properly on the coupes? I can source a C-Class Sports Sedan cover (Q6600085). I know that user @bhamg has one on his C63 Sedan which, according to Wikipedia, is less than an inch longer. I believe the B pillar is in a different place on the coupe vs the sedan. Is that enough to make a difference? Anybody able to provide insight on this?

If you’re storing your car outside here in SoCal for a few months, the OEM cover isn’t going to cut it. It’s made for garage use and is precisely 0% weatherproof. I know this because I tried doing the same thing and the cover let in a ton of dust and dirt and grit etc. Forget about rain or anything else. And wind will lift it right up. Practically useless outside unless it’s just for a day or two.
I just had a California Car Cover made and it’s perfect. Wait time was about 6 weeks and pickup at their Simi store.

Yes - California Car Cover !!!
I have it currently on my 507 for winter storage in the garage, and have used them in the past for the classics i used to own. Fit is perfect and you have several choices to match the environment you'll be in.
