Loose valve cover bolts?
I opened my passenger side valve cover a few months back to check the wear on my camshaft lobes (70k miles). I replaced the gasket and spark plug seals since I had it open. I didn't have time to do the drivers side. Fast forward a month or so, I noticed the drivers side is dripping oil on the exhaust. I took it off yesterday and noticed the bolt where it was dripping was pretty loose. Has anyone had these back out over time? To my knowledge, I was first to open it. The gasket of course looked fine, but I replaced anyways since I had the new ones.

Those bolts are one-time use if I remember correctly. Same for plug coils and airbox lids.

I saw that. Can't say that makes much sense due to the low torque values. Makes sense for ones like manifold which are torque to yield. Are people really buying new air box lids screws each time?!?!?

Look very carefully to see if the valve cover is cracked, specifically where the bolt holes are. Unfortunately, this is a very common failure point, and tightening further will only make the crack (and leak) worse.
I and many others had to replace the cover......which is currently on backorder in the US and Germany.
