the renntech shorties are terrible quality. Dont mistake high price with high quality. However cheap price will always be terrible quality. Shorties are pointless anyways. actually factory ones crack too lol.

And still
No one has said don't buy XYZ brand bc of ABC

All I keep hearing is that MBH is good. And why cheap headers are bad. But no one has come out and said VRP sucks bc, ARH didn't fit well.

More so no one has said that XYZ brand was analyzed and we found po or welds due to temperature or filler.

I'm not asking you to tell me what makes a bad header. I'm asking you to tell me which headers have bad build.... And cost doesn't equate to quality

OK i will rephrase my earlier post. Do not buy Renntech headers as the quality is poor and they cracked. I dont think you will find many people that will say i bought XYZ and they broke so i did a full analysis on them and this was why they failed. They failed so they threw them away and bought a better quality brand

Dude. Why are you so demanding of others to do this detective work for you? Help me to understand this - you want real life examples? You want a "smoking gun"? This information already exists here on this forum and in hundreds of threads online.

Do you want people to do the searching for you? There was a post about a year ago pointing out the horrible welds and flanges on VRP headers, with close up pics with things circled and first-hand experiences. Search for it. There was another post talking about Becker/OBX and eBay headers a few years earlier. Search for it. All this stuff is here. How about you contribute a little to the forum and do the work, maybe put together a nice post to highlight all of the problems and get them all in one place, rather than whine and leech off of the forum members who have better things to do.

Again, nobody cares what you put on your car. Plenty of people with tons of real life experience have chimed in with their expert opinions. Do whatever you want.

You’re beating a dead horse at this point. Nobody is going to do the work for you.

reasons to not buy cheap crap headers... they leak, they rub on the body of the car when installed, they are way more time consuming to install and your mechanic will hate you for the nightmare. I dont document brand XYZ doesn't work when they bring their own stuff. None of them will not rub on the floor board if you have good engine mounts lol. Where as no issues with MBH or AR good mounts or not. I've done 30+ sets. That's your answer. The average car owner keeps a car 2-3 years. Most people don't hold on to a car long enough to see these issues. I also see their terrible weld in aluminized pipes for the resonator deletes, which hold together a few years before rusting through / leaking and cracking as well.

If you don't like the answers because I haven't provided pictures and details on every car I work on, then order some and find out for yourself lol. You should probably order one of those throttle pedal boosters, and a super chips tune for $200 and ask whos had a blown motor with a bad tune lol.

I ran ARH long tubes for almost 2 years before I sold the car.. Holy mackerel do I miss that sound, the S55 in my M4 does NOTHING for me. Regardless, never had an issue with cracks / leaks / etc with the LTH.
Mind you, I only put about 15,000 miles on them before selling the car, but the next owner has yet to tell me of any running issues (we have a few common friends)
