shows "dynojet hp" on the actual dyno sheet from a Mainline Dyno. looks like they're using some dyno corrections to make up numbers. Mainline Dyno's read low just like Mustang Dyno's so these numbers aren't accurate if correction has been altered.
also "Est Dynojet HP" is showing to make what...530whp on gasoline with just headers and tune? come on bro. those numbers aren't even possible on Eurocharged Canada's dyno which is blatantly a lie.
different dyno brands cannot "simulate" another dyno's numbers as they use different means record such data. any numbers should be written as a guesstimate afterwards and not applied to correction factors to the dyno.

Are you sure there wasn't a leaky nitrous bottle near the dyno?

Is that a P31 car? Your baseline is like 420+ whp which is pretty high. I had the same setup with a eurocharged shelf tune and made 460 whp on 93 oct. Hard to believe the tune picked up 40 whp.

this is a non p31 car. The base line dyno run was with the headers and air boxes. Then the red line is tuned. This was tuned via HPtuners on the dyno. Not sure what I have to do to prove it to you guys. You can call mike at Autowave to confirm, then maybe get the same parts I have and get a tune from him so you can have 500whp as well.

Same old discussion. I'm sure your car is fun and drives great but it doesn't make 500whp. It's just physically impossible on 93octane with airboxes, tune and headers. the end. Everyone is so obsessed with dyno numbers. If yours makes 500whp on that dyno, than mine would make 600whp. Which also explains the 420whp base. Not even a 507 edition will put that down.
Anyways enjoy the car. Glad someone actually put an engine together correctly for once. Congrats on the build.

Why do people on this forum.... And this particular forum not any of the others I'm part of (NSX prime, GTRLIFE, Ferrari-chat, etc. Etc etc). ... want to knock down dyno numbers?
The dude even showed before and after to show the difference in curve.
Rather than tear him down.... Why not commend him on the updates
Let the dude live his life.

Mainline dyno as in hubdyno?
If so, we all got our explanation there.
As a hubdyno always read higher due to the losses in the tirefriction isn´t there.

What tune do you have? I feel like everyone here is running an off the shelf flash tune. These flash tunes are made for anyone and everyone to be able to run them and still be safe, that will lessen the liability for the tuning company. I personally know Mike, he will vouch for me that my car made exactly 499whp. He used HPtuners and made the tune specifically for my car doing multiple dyno runs, not only changing timing and how far the throttle blades open up, but also changing intake and exhaust cam timing which I’m sure not many off the shelf tunes do. This is also a 2012 which comes with a wet clutch style torque converter allowing even less drivetrain loss. With all of that combined my car made 499whp no matter what anyone says, it just made that much. Please understand the engine was fully rebuilt with a valve job done and the heads decked ever so slightly.

Good for you man. Doesn't matter to me if your car would make a little more hp on some dynos or a little less on others. You got strong numbers that make you happy and a tune you like, enjoy the hell out of it. You'll find a small "old guard" of forum members who have a lot of negativity to hurl around. Don't let it bother you. There are still new improvements to these cars to be had and things that can be done better than they have done it. I mean kudos to them for any work they put in previously but if your knowledge just leads to a closed mind toward other improvements or negativity toward other people's version of the vehicle platform you claim to like, then you havent done yourself or anyone else any favors. You see the same reaction from some to the guy who actually had affordable cams made and installed recently. I found some things with the trans cooler, a couple suspension and brake things and some data logging metrics for track that I have never seen anybody around here do before. There is still plenty of room to evolve on building these cars.
so thanks for sharing your tune and dyno experience.
Don't get caught up in the back and forth with the negative ones here, been there done that and there is no end to their pool of negativity.
just go drive and enjoy.
