Just got my C63 back...

I usually do my own work on this car, but due to some future time commitments I elected to have my local indy shop do the following:

Replace pulleys with OEM + new conti belt
Trans service
Rear Diff service
Fixed oil leaks on front covers (new gaskets)
Replaced all 4 adjuster plates with the ones from 63 motorsports + titanium bolts
Replaced all lifters with the updated ones (not black series)

Cost me a bundle but I can't believe how quiet the car idles now...

Nothing wrong with maintaining a car. Not many are "nice" anymore.

Literally doing the EXACT same service with 63ms plates stage 1 on my 507 now, No leaks but doesn't matter once the gaskets are out. Also doing T-stat and Injectors.

Curious how many miles? I'm at 60k.

How much did the shop charge you for this? My driver's side valve cover gasket just went and am wondering how much it'll cost me to fix.

I did the injectors myself around 63k. Mine adjuster noise was actually from the passenger side intake. It started randomly around 60k. I didn't hear it on every start, but when I did, man it sounded terrible. I'm at 72k now and everything sounds great.

Mine was leaking from these. They charged $300 to do both of them with new seals. The top ones I did myself. Depending on your mileage, you might try replacing the bolt(s) holding on the covers. My drivers side was leaking as well, after taking off the air box and coils, I started removing all the bolts to replace the gasket. I noticed where it was leaking had a very lose bolt. Less than hand tight. I replaced the gasket and torqued it down again. It eventually started leaking again. I then replaced the bolt (MB says they are 1 time use anyways) and that seems to have fixed the issue.

I have the same thing now. Unfortunately for me the PO really did a number, it is throwing a cam code on exhaust bank 2. I already purchased all 32 new buckets and now most likely going to get new exhaust cam from merc. Will try and post some pictures and a how to if I can remember to photo everything.

Are you sure you need a whole cam? What is the code?
