SD Card - Doesn't recognize new songs

Anyone know how to get our media unit to recognize when files are added or removed from an SD card? It seems to cache the list of files, and doesn't refresh. I removed and re-inserted. I renamed the Volume. I changed the Volume ID. Same behavior. The final thing I did was to reformat the card and then re-copy my music files. That worked, but is very annoying.

I've had issues with some systems where the format of the SD card is not compatible with the head unit operating system. You might need to try a different format type (eg FAT32) before loading your music on the card.

Yes, NTFS format was not recognized by the car. I am using exFAT. Windows 11 didn't give me an option to format it as FAT32, so maybe I will try that next with a separate app.

As a follow up for anyone finding this thread in the future:

Use a 32GB or smaller card formatted in FAT32 and you should be good to go. The card I was having trouble with was 128GB formatted as exFAT.
