Hoping for a c63
Widebody/Bs Front wheel fitment
Hello everyone,
I bought a widebody c63 awhile back and finally ready to get new wheels ! I'm curious what everyone with a bs or widebody c63 running for fitment in the front but back as well. I'd like to go for an aggresive look.

Wow that’s the worst looking C63 I’ve ever seen. Impressive.

Thank you OP for rescuing this car from an abusive(and blind) previous owner. Holy hell those rims are aids. Literally anything else would look better. Goodluck in your search man! 🤣

Yeah, Wow! Well whatever those things are, I guess they at least fit, (maybe, sort of). Start by pulling a front and rear wheel and see what sizes they are. (diameter, width, offset, tire size). You could use that info and back down on the diameter to the real world or at least a galaxy near by. If you don't do anything else, you need to go down in wheel diameter, up in tire section height. You could work out aspect ratio and width from there. Putting the springs back in would help. Yikes!

Yeah you’re going to have to do something about the suspension too. And that front fender isn’t right. The car was clearly setup for “stance lyfe” and is likely totally fuked up underneath. Hope it’s not too expensive to fix but I think it will be.

Hard to believe that's the same car, it's like looking at some before and after some botched plastic surgery. Amazing what ride height and some horrendous rims can do for a vehicles image.

Then maybe start with the specs for a Black Series. (wheels and tires).

What I’m trying to say is that the wide body fenders on your car look all wrong. Look at the trailing edge of the fronts and leading edge of the rears. They appear to be highly modified specifically to accommodate the crazy camber specs of a stanced car. The fender openings are not round, they are massively distorted. When you put normal wheels and tires on, you’re going to have a huge gap and it’s going to look funny. Unless I’m missing something. See pic below comparing yours to a normal BS conversion fenders.

I didn't catch that before. Not sure what you do now. It looks like a lot of work to do a nice job of whatever that is. Wow + 1

I have to agree with @BLKROKT on this one. This is the reason why I'm always very hesitant on even thinking of doing rear flares on mine. I'd hate for it to come out looking all out of proportion, as pointed out by BLK.
As for the wheels, holly molly doughnut shop!

I mean, flares are fine if they’re done right. But you can’t just slap them on, there’s quite a lot going on behind them with multiple layers that have to be cut and resealed correctly. I shudder to think about what those look like underneath. Just to get the wheels and tires to sit way up inside the body like that… I can practically guarantee that it’s a total mess under there unfortunately. Fender liners are probably removed which means the engine bay and ABS and other sensitive stuff has had rocks kicked up into everything for who knows how long. People who butcher their cars like that generally are only concerned about looks, not function or durability. Like I said, I hope I’m wrong but probably not.
