I have a w211 e63, and a friend have the w204 c63 ,we both Modified sls intake
My friend'$ c53 is all good , but my e63 have a problem ,whne i go dyno, the rpm just can up around at 4500rpm ,then cant
go up,and show maf wrong,, so ask Mechanic, change a newaf ,new coil ,new spark, then go back to dyno ,same resultCant go up over 4500rpm,then we thought will the maf to close throttle body ,the first only about 5cm,so redesign the tube,at the cormer Let his pipe diameter get smaller and smaller and connect it to the air filter ,this time throttle with maf have about 7-8 cm ,then .go dyno again,
damn same thing happen again, finally i chand mu friemd'$ pipe including maf air filter, and go up to 6500rpm and 501hp
but my e63 didnt have enough space for my friends pipe design ,
so will it be about maf with throttle and pipe corner distance problem? like the throttle to maf distancc, and maf to the p turn of the pipe distance ? even how long of the throttle to the turn of pipe and the maf need in the middle? Or at least how far away throttle is can work ,can't make the flow reflash back
Im confuse ,and the mechanic change 3 times ,the problem still not fix,he either have not idea, have anyone know whats rhe problem ,
This ks two car pic, maybe watch from the pic ,u cant found out the c63 pipe Straight places are longer than my oneThis is e63 ,white line is mf install place

my friend c63 red line is maf

Have someone before have the same problem? Or can suggest how can i do
And ...sorry ,i know this is about e63
Should. Ot be post at here but here more people do the same Modified ,

Where is your maf ? In the tube with the white line going to it ?

Perhaps the connectors are underneath and not visible, which is bizarre...

Maybe this is our solution to "poreous manifolds" on the M156 we switch them to the M159 version... That really cool, but I'd image it's not cheap or easy to find an M159 manifold. I see a ton of bolts on the top, but how do you fasten it to the block?

Sure, it’s a great $4k “solution”. Plus tuning, piping, filters, hood modification, etc etc… and then you also lose the low-end torque from elimination of the variable length runners we have. If you’re going for a VMax C63 and just have too much money, this is the mod for you.

I just saw ur video and have the idea, and want keep the mature aspirated ,and remember u have tell me about a intaly great crankshft ,and piston and rod ,i already place order , really cost lots of money and still need camshaft,,but now have this problem, and if remove the maf and change the ecu like syvecs can control everything is a solution too?
but still don't find out the problem of now

Yes not cheap and not easy to find , and u can find some video online ,im not a mechanic, but he do the install intake ,change the 82mm throttle and some modify totally about 3 days, and maybe will have In-cylinder direct injection system for m156 ,i think that will much nicer
